6 Contact Hours Provided:
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. (This is the approval that is widely recognized by all states) for 6 contact hours. Approval by the California Board of Registered Nursing for 6 contact hours. This program has been approved for 6 contact hours Continuing Respiratory Care Education (CRCE) credit by the American Association for Respiratory Care. Certificates are distributed at the conclusion of the course.
Stethoscope Skills Course Overview:
This intensive one-day workshop provides participants with a review of pertinent anatomy and physiology, use of audio-visual aids to identify normal and abnormal auscultatory findings, periods for practice of skills, and the confidence to do a thorough and accurate assessment of heart sounds, breath sounds, and abdominal sounds.

Assessment is the first step in providing patient care. In every setting the health care provider is call ed upon to determine the condition of the patient. If the stethoscope is used properly, the listener will feel as if he is looking inside of the body; but rather than looking with the eyes, this is looking with the ears!
FEE: $79 PER PERSON GROUPS OF 3 OR MORE: $72 PER PERSON
